    Disclaimer

Please note that any medication or dietary changes should be run by your physician first to make sure it is the right fit for you.

I do not allow republication of my posts, photos, or recipes without prior consent. If you’d like to post a recipe, just message me! I’d be more than happy to work with you. I usually just ask for a credit and link back to the site and original recipe. I do allow sharing of my photos on social media as long as you credit the post it came from with a direct link and also link to thedizzycook.com. Thanks for sharing! The Dizzy Cook, LLC is not written by a doctor or registered dietician. I am just a fellow chronic migraine sufferer passing on what has worked for me in the hope that it may help you in some small (or BIG) way. I do work closely with many doctors and neurologists for some of the information you see here. I found cooking to be very soothing for my vestibular migraines and could never find a fun recipe website for people following migraine diets so I decided to create my own page with the things I cook everyday.

All recipes are based on the diet plan from the book Heal Your Headache by Dr David Buchholz, which I recommend purchasing and reading before you begin your diet. Although some of the medication information in the book is outdated, the diet itself does work for many. You will find out over the weeks that what might be on the list of “OK” foods could potentially be a trigger for you and some “trigger” foods may be fine. Everyone is very different and obviously it would be difficult to try to cater to everyone’s personal triggers outside the plan. I will try my best to give alternatives in the post.

Because I do not have a medical background, I will never give advice on medications, but you can find a plethora of information on them in the book. I will touch on supplements, but you should ALWAYS run those by your physician as well.

    Ads and Affiliate links

I’ve recently made the decision to add advertisements to my site through a 3rd party service and do not control what ads you see – they are generated based upon your search history. Through this change, I’m hoping to continue to provide you with more amazing free content. Because I know ads can be triggering to some, if there’s ever one that bothers you please take a screenshot and email [email protected] so I can work with my ad network to come up with a better solution.

Occasionally there may be sponsored or partnership posts on my site and those will be disclosed. That being said, anything I link to as far as products will always be items I have personally tried and believe in. I refuse to promote a product that is not migraine-friendly or that I haven’t had success with.
