Mozzarella alfredo pasta sauce is creamy and delicious without any parmesan! Made with mozzarella, garlic, butter and cream, it's the perfect base for a simple fettuccine alfredo. A perfect 20 minute meal for a cozy dinner.
Mozzarella | Butter Heavy Cream | Garlic | Pasta Salt & Pepper | Parsley
Cook pasta according to package directions and drain, reserving about 1 cup of pasta water.
Melt butter, stir in garlic and heavy cream and bring to a low simmer, stirring often till thick. Add in pasta, and toss till it's well-coated.
Add in the mozzarella cheese, and continue to toss till the cheese has melted. Taste and adjust any seasonings, adding salt, pepper, or a pinch of nutmeg as needed.
Top with parsley and serve immediately.
