The best comfort food for fall is no bean chili! This hearty and flavorful beanless chili recipe combines ground beef & vegetables. Instead of using beans, squash provides a wonderful flavor without overpowering the dish.
Ground Beef | Shallots Butternut Squash Chopped Tomatoes | Broth Chili Powder | Honey Smoked Paprika
Add garlic and shallots to a large pot, sauté until softened about 1-2 min. Add in beef and cook over medium heat until brown and cooked through.
Add squash, tomato paste, honey & spices, stirring all together. Pour in broth & tomatoes. Stir everything together, and bring to a low simmer.
Simmer at least 30 min, adjusting the heat level as needed.
Top with green onions, radishes and tortilla chips or make it a topping itself and add to nachos!
