Creamed Spinach

This Baked Creamed Spinach from Frozen recipe is delicious and easy to make with frozen spinach! Modeled after the creamy steakhouse creamed spinach recipes, it's served warm in a casserole dish after baking till just golden brown on top.

Frozen Spinach | Half & Half Butter | Broth | Garlic | Flour Cream Cheese | Shallots  Nutmeg | Cayenne

Bring water to a boil over high heat and cook the frozen spinach for about 4-5 minutes. Drain and let it cool, then use a kitchen towel to squeeze out all moisture. Set aside.

Melt butter, add shallots and garlic, stirring until softened and fragrant. Stir in flour till it is smooth and begins to turn light brown. Stir in half and half and broth, bringing to a simmer over high heat till thick.

Add in the spices and cream cheese, stirring till smooth. Then add in drained spinach, mixing till fully combined. Add seasonings as needed.

ENJOY!

Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown on top.
